We're proud to offer our new line of Anvil Grips for the Ruger Old Model Vaquero. Designed to fit the XR3-RED grip frame, these will fit the Old Model Vaquero in addition to 3 screw Blackhawks and Old Armies among others. These grips are precision CNC machined from Micarta sheet and feature a slim profile and aggressive checkering that allow a positive grip even when wet. 

Micarta features properties that make it an excellent choice for grips. It remains stable in temperature extremes, both hot and cold. It also resists moisture and doesn't become brittle with age. Micarta is easily cleaned with soap and water and can be treated with mineral oil periodically to restore its luster.
