ARCHON MFG GLOCK COMPENSATOR 1/2-28 9MM BLACK ANODIZE

I mounted the three slotted 9MM compensator on a FHN Tactical 509. The fit and finish are first rate, and the two-set screws tensioning instills confidence it will stay put. Set torque at recommended 25 inch-pounds. I’ve shot 115 rounds of various factory loads of 9mm practice ammo along with Self defense loads from Federal Micro 150g HST, Hornady Critical Defense, Winchester SX-9. All fed flawlessly. The felt recoil reduction was noticeable with muzzle vertical rise diminished. I would highly recommend to my fellow pistol shooters.

So Good, So practical and So affordable!

So I purchased this after many hours of understanding my needs based on practical applications and financial considerations. Practical you can use this no loctite required and you dont have to check it often because its held in place with two Allen screws that ( don't touch the barrel which is key but only sinches down the Copensator so it doesn't move. I have a roughly 300 rounds I've put thru my FN509T and I know this pistol its mannerisms and most of all how it reacts after being fired. Once I put the Compensator on I felt a difference after the first shot I had little adjustment to make because the pistol was still on target ! I won't say it reduces the recoil I will say I felt like I was shooting a 22. Instead of a 9mm! You cant beat the price the practical design and most of all the performance your going to gain !!!!!!

509T Compensator

This completes my pistol! Its plug and play I love the Allen key because it allows me to field stop and clean the pistol and not have to deal with blue loctite or comes loose because it simply screws in place. This thing screws on and bolts down in place it's perfect in its practical!!!!!

Love the compensator for the 9mm it has great lines and an awesome look at the end of the slide. Threads were buttery smooth as well. Great made product.

Great Compensator

The Archon compensator does a good job as a compensator with muzzle rise in the same range as most of the other highly rated comps. This one, however, fits perfectly with the Glock frame either Gen 3 or Gen 4/5. The visible flash (big deal at night) is less than some and quite acceptable. I do, however, recommend using a weapon light if you plan on shooting in low light to minimize the detrimental effects of flash (I also use the Holosun red dot for the same reason. low light shooting). One of the absolute greatest features of the Archon Comp over ALL others is the way it is secured to the barrel. Instead of set screws that require loctite and tightening into the threads of your very expensive, threaded match-grade barrel. If you tighten a set screw into the barrel threads, your barrel can now only be used for that. The Archon splits the comp along the threaded portion and uses two set screws (no need for loctite) to essentially clamp the comp onto the barrel. I takes literally two minutes to install and one minute to take off. Unlike the other comps I have used, i can easily remove the comp to properly clean my barrel and reinstall with ease. Best comp ever!
